MBET-2WR is an internet/LAN data transceiver for use in remote reading systems, mostly M-Bus. It has three standard pulse inputs, one RS-232C interface for connection to the network master converter or for initial programming and an Ethernet interface.

The main purpose of this converter is to connect directly devices with pulse outputs to a remote reading system. Of course, other devices with M-Bus can be read too, using an M-Bus converter connected to the MBET-2WR serial interface. MBET-2WR allows up to six different operators (IP addresses) to connect and read data. For a given data operator, only selected mediums are allowed for reading. Automatic readout can be set and performed along with other useful functions in remote reading systems. The device has built-in DHCP, which dramatically reduces setting time, making the device almost plug-and-play.

MBET-2WR is specially designed for remote reading systems but can be used in other applications as well.
