WMR-IoT is a USB-based wireless M-Bus receiver/repeater intended to collect data from various devices, working in modes T, S or C according to the wireless M-Bus standard (EN13757-4).
This device has a simple function – collect data from every wireless meter in range and show the user valid data, signal strength and additional information about meters read. The device is powered directly from a USB port and works with an FTDI-based chip. It is small, simple and ideal for walk-by readings or just for gathering info for a given wireless network.
Data is visualised in free Gineers software – versions for Windows and Android. It can decode telegrams, decrypt AES-128 Mode 4 and 5 (CBC) encrypted data, import/export data by user-created template and perform some other useful functions. The Windows version also supports a simple database with records for read meters in the past. For a more detailed overview of the software and WRM-IoT, please take a look at the WRM-IoT software user manual.
