Wireless repeater, battery powered

Wireless M-Bus repeaters are intended to retransmit data from wireless M-Bus meters or sensors. This is often needed inside or outside big buildings, where meters are with wireless M-Bus.

Since wireless M-Bus is on the 868 MHz frequency, it is dependent on distance and obstacles. Usually around 300-400 metres of direct view is not a problem, but building materials and sensor/meter position are also very important. In order to use only one main collecting concentrator in bigger buildings, users must use signal repeaters. Since sometimes it is not possible to use an external power supply, we offer this battery-powered repeater. That is what our repeater does – retransmit with full power possible meters that are in range. It can hold up to 250 IDs for retransmission. Battery-powered repeaters should be set more carefully, and set-up is in direct relation with battery life. Our repeaters work in modes T, S and C and are set with a wireless m-bus device (like WMR-IoT) and our service software.
